Terms and Conditions


Welcome to Smartboard PH. Please carefully read the following terms and conditions, as they govern your purchase and use of Smartboard PH products. By purchasing or using our products, you agree to these terms.


1. Product Description

The product sold under Smartboard PH is an interactive and smart digital whiteboard (“the Product”). We aim to ensure all product descriptions and specifications are accurate; however, product images may vary slightly from the actual product due to lighting or screen differences.

2. Warranty

  • 1-Year Warranty: Smartboard PH provides a one-year limited warranty for all digital whiteboards, covering defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase.
  • Warranty Exclusions:
    • Any modification or physical damage to the product will void the warranty.
    • The warranty does not cover:
      • Damages due to misuse, abuse, or neglect
      • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
      • Natural wear and tear

Limitations and Exclusions Notwithstanding that the Product is within the Warranty Period, this warranty shall be invalidated and rendered void upon the following: 

The Product serial number, IMEI number or warranty seal has been removed, erased, defaced, altered, tampered or is illegible; or The Product shows evidence of commercial use; impact, shock; accident; fire, flood, earthquake, lightning, or other acts of nature; sand, liquid, or food damage; exposure to extreme thermal or environmental conditions beyond product specifications or a rapid change in such conditions; electrostatic discharge; battery or chemical corrosion; abuse, mishandling, improper installation, operation or maintenance, use of wrong electrical supply or voltage; damage during shipment to/from Smartboard PH authorized service center; damage caused by the installation of any software, programs or applications, or use of any accessories, consumable items or peripheral equipment not provided or approved by Smartboard PH for use with the Product; improper alteration, modification, adjustment, tampering; replacement of parts with parts not provided or approved by Smartboard PH; or dismantling, opening, service or repair performed other than by Smartboard PH authorized service center; or any other use contrary to the product manual. 

This warranty does not cover and is not limited to: 

Missing accessories or external parts of the Product, unless such claim is made within 3 days from the date of original retail purchase; Cosmetic damage to the outer surface/finishing and external parts of the Product, including without limitation cracks, dents, or scratches on the exterior casing, screen, camera lens, buttons, and other attachments; Deterioration of the Product due to normal wear and tear, including without limitation rust or stains; General maintenance, password reset assistance, routine servicing and cleaning, updating/upgrading of software, installation of software or applications, product demonstration, or any other service other than repair; Any other circumstance such that repair would be contradictory or not in compliance with good business practice.

3. Shipping and Delivery

  • Shipping Timeframe: All orders will be processed and shipped within 15-30 business days upon receipt of payment. This timeframe may vary depending on availability and other factors.
  • Shipping Costs: Shipping fees will be calculated at checkout and may vary depending on the location. Customers are responsible for these costs unless specified otherwise.
  • Customs and Import Fees: For international orders, buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or taxes imposed by the destination country.
  • Delivery and Clearance: For all items to be delivered by a third-party courier or picked up directly by the client, Smartboard PH requires a clearance check before release. Clients opting to forgo the inspection must sign a waiver acknowledging full responsibility for any damages or issues upon receipt. Smartboard PH will not be held liable once the item has left the warehouse premises without clearance.

4. Returns and Refunds

  • Return Policy: Returns are accepted only for defective or damaged items. If you receive a defective or incorrect product, please notify us within 7 days of receipt to arrange a return or replacement.
  • Return Shipping: For approved returns, the customer will be responsible for return shipping fees. We will reimburse the cost of the original item once received, inspected, and verified.
  • Refunds: Refunds will be issued for eligible returns only, excluding any original shipping charges. Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days of receiving the returned product.

5. Limitation of Liability

Smartboard PH is not responsible for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of revenue, or any other commercial damages. Smartboard PH’s maximum liability will not exceed the purchase price of the product.

6. Usage Guidelines

  • Proper Handling: Customers are advised to handle the product with care and follow all operating instructions provided. Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures, moisture, and direct impact to prevent damage.
  • Installation and Usage: The product should be installed and used as per the instructions provided by Smartboard PH. Any issues resulting from improper setup or handling are not covered under warranty.

7. Modifications to Terms and Conditions

Smartboard PH reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services or products signifies acceptance of the updated terms.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, designs, and trademarks related to Smartboard PH are the intellectual property of Smartboard PH. Unauthorized use or reproduction of any content from our website or marketing materials is strictly prohibited.

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Philippines. Any disputes arising out of these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Marikina City, Metro Manila.
